Our Rebrand Story: Why We Became Mindful Mirage Scents (And Kept the Fun with Lather & Giggle)
It all begins somewhere
Hello dear friends,
If you’ve been with us since the Fortune Cookie Soap days, thank you from the bottom of my heart for sticking around. I’m Demaura, the new owner, and I’m so excited (and a little nervous!) to share what’s next for this brand I’ve fallen in love with.
When I took over, I wanted to honor everything you loved — the playful scents, the high-quality natural ingredients, and that joyful “fortune cookie” surprise in every order. At the same time, I dreamed of elevating the brand into something that feels like a warm hug of affordable luxury.
That’s how Mindful Mirage Scents was born.
What Changed (and What Didn’t)
We’re now focused on mindful self-care with beautiful, long-lasting scents and thoughtful formulations that work for all skin and hair types. Think creamy whipped body glazes, gentle sponge soaps, nourishing hair care, and our new perfume line — all made with plant-based ingredients and a lot of love in Tulsa.
But we didn’t want to lose the fun that made Fortune Cookie Soap special. That’s why we created Lather & Giggle — our playful sub-brand that keeps the pop-culture scents and whimsical energy alive. You’ll still find those nostalgic, giggle-worthy bars right alongside the more elevated Mindful Mirage collection.

A Small but Important Change
We’ve retired the old sample box subscription to make things simpler. Instead, whenever we launch something new, I’ll tuck a sample stick or mini right into your regular orders. You’ll still get to try new scents and products without any extra commitment.
We do still offer a monthly self-care subscription box through both Mindful Mirage Scents and Lather & Giggle. Each box brings a little randomized joy: mini sponge soaps, whipped cream body glaze, body scrub, cuticle butter, bath bombs, and more.
What This Means for You
Nothing about the quality or the heart of the company has changed. We’re still a small, woman-owned brand that cares deeply about using clean, natural ingredients and creating products that make you feel good inside and out.
